North Catholic High School is a private Catholic high school located on Troy Hill on the Northside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The school's mascot is the Trojan and its official colors are scarlet and gold.
North Catholic High School began as an all-boys school in 1939, founded by Bishop Hugh Charles Boyle of the Diocese of Pittsburgh and the Marianists.[3] Girls first began enrolling in the school in 1973.

In early 2008 the North Catholic robotics team competed in the First Robotics competition at the University of Pittsburgh. They placed 17 out of 33, which is reasonably well considering most of the teams were veterans. The team was sponsored by the North Catholic Alumni Association.
The current tuition rate is approximately $8.095 for a Catholic student and $8500 for a non-catholic student.
In 2007 the North Catholic Trojans baseball team was WPIAL Class AA Champion for the second time in three years.
In September 2007, the North Catholic Golf Team completed their season in a dominating fashion. The team, which includes Steve Koerper, Ryan Porter, Shane Callaghan, Kevin Cottington, Morgan Porter and Andrew Danylo, completed a sweep of a tri-match against Monaca and East Allegheny. They shot a career low 218, with three players shooting personal bests. North completed their season with three wins, which tripled their win total of the year before.
In February 2009 the North Catholic Girls Basketball Team won their 15th WPIAL title. The most in WPIAL history. The Boys won their first basketball title.
In November 2009, the North Catholic Girls Volleyball team ran undefeated and become division champs.
